These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Movers Packers Jaipur (hereinafter referred to as "the Company," "We," or "Us") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "the Client" or "You"). By booking our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Survey and Quotation
- All quotes provided are based on the inventory list shared by the Client at the time of the survey (physical or virtual).
- If additional items are added on the day of the move that were not included in the initial quote, the Company reserves the right to revise the final billing.
- Quotations are valid for a period of 15 days from the date of issuance.
2. Payment Terms
- Booking Amount: A nominal advance payment may be required to confirm the slot.
- Final Settlement: 100% of the remaining balance must be cleared at the time of loading at the origin point or as per the specific agreement made during booking.
- Mode of Payment: We accept Cash, UPI, and Bank Transfers.
3. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, Movers Packers Jaipur will not transport the following:
- Hazardous Goods: Explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids (petrol/kerosene), and chemicals.
- Valuables: Jewelry, precious stones, physical currency, and high-value documents (Passports, Deeds). The Client is advised to carry these personally.
- Perishables: Food items that may spoil during transit or plants (unless specifically agreed upon for short distances).
4. Client Responsibilities
- Documentation: The Client must provide necessary ID proofs and, in the case of interstate moves, required transit permits or declarations.
- Presence: The Client or an authorized representative must be present during the entire packing and loading process.
- Appliances: All electronic appliances (Fridges, Washing Machines, ACs) must be disconnected and emptied prior to the arrival of the packing team.
5. Insurance and Liability
- Standard Liability: While we take the utmost care, the Company’s liability for any loss or damage is limited unless the Client opts for Transit Insurance.
- Insurance Coverage: If insurance is opted for, the claim will be settled by the insurance provider as per their terms. The Company will assist in the documentation but is not liable for the final claim amount.
- Exclusions: We are not liable for internal mechanical or electrical failures of appliances where no external damage to the packing is visible.
6. Postponement and Cancellation
- Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled move time may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Postponement is subject to the availability of slots and may incur additional charges during peak seasons (month-ends/weekends).
7. Claims and Complaints
- Any damage or discrepancy must be reported in writing on the Consignment Note at the time of delivery. Claims made after the team has left the delivery site may not be entertained.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
